It sounds like it to me too. And though we may never know if the family exercises their right to privacy (which would probably be a good choice), it seems as though he made peace with the fact that he was in his last days.

I was very sad to hear of his passing. sad.gif Truly a cultural legend.

My warmest Leonard Nimoy memory actually isn't Star Trek exactly, though...it's "Tiny Spock" from Bjg Bang Theory. That voiceover just seemed like so much fun.

As far as I can make out from Facebook, the family chose too have the funeral ceremony in private, wwhich seemed to be the besst thing they could have done.

Yes, the "Tiny Spock" scenes from The Big Bang Theory were fun to watch, it seems like something the actors could laugh about while shooting those scenes.

Yeah, agreed, privacy is good.

And I can definitely imagine everyone having a laugh behind the scenes at those voiceovers, too.

According to the reports, comments and posting on Facebook, there were some "disruptive entities" that had the intent on protesting on the ceremony. That's why the family chose to do the ceremony in private and they didn't disclose the location of the ceremony.
