Root beer. xD

Sounds like real fun. German American club? What is it exactly? I am surprised how populär German culture is in other countries. Thr Germans themselves like their culture indeed but think of it that it might be boring for foreigners.

Maybe that's a silly question, but was the Oktoberfest in... September? Would it be too cold in September for such an outdoor event?

our Klubs Oktoberfest is celebrated in middle to late September. It is a kick off of a many big parties till the end of the year. the week is flexible due to our states keen observation of crazy weather. ah if only we had weather modification satellites i would never ever leave the bier garden lol and the area that i live in was settled by German settlers over one hundred and fifty years ago. they came here and lived with my ancestors the Blackfoot. and other local tribes like Pique,Miami,Shawnee, and the Delaware Indians. So German culture is really everywhere here. The Klub is a place where people can come and learn about our areas German culture. They offer programs for children to learn about German food and even offer lessons in the German language! here are a few links if anyone wants to learn more about my little world here in the United States of America!

and my favorite bar lol

i know some links may not go through depending on where you live i guess, but i hope they work for you all

That is really interesting, especially the museum link. It is great that people make so much effort to preserve their cultural heritage and to pass it on to their children. And the sausages look yummy.
